An Afternoon With The Roberts | Tunbridge Wells Family Photography
As a Tunbridge Wells Family Photographer I’m spoiled for choice of beautiful parks and stunning locations to shoot in but nothing excites me more than being in a families home and seeing their children run around playing happily in their garden as the sun shines.
I’ve been planning on spending some time with the Roberts family for awhile so when Sinead suggested getting together for a little Afternoon In The Life Of… shoot I couldn’t have been happier.
These kids are an absolute treat, they’re funny, full of personality and have their own individual characters and they’re just a wonderful family.
The photos below are my version of what I think Tunbridge Wells Family Photography can be. It doesn’t need to be super staged or orchestrated, we don’t need hats or props or other gimmicks. All that needs to happen is a little freedom to let children be children and to do their thing, the photos are all just right there waiting to be taken.
If I can capture some of the character of your little ones then I’ve got what I came for, I really want you to be able to look back at these photos in years to come and remember how they were right there in that moment in time.
I’m planning on more of these sessions as the year goes on so if you’d like to know more please get in touch. For this session we planned it simply to take place between lunchtime and bedtime and see what a little slice of the Roberts life is like on a Sunday afternoon.
Turns out, it’s a bit nuts. There were sand pit, paint everywhere, sprinklers, and just a whole heap of general mayhem and it was pure magic to be in amongst. Sam, Sinead, Huwie, Ned & Hal: we all love you, you’re the best kind of people.
If you’re reading this at home now and think it sounds like fun and you’d like to arrange something similar then drop me a line, I’d love to hear more about you and your family. For now, here’s a little of the madness…
