Claudia & Tom | Marquee Wedding Photography
One of my favourite ever weddings is here on the blog for you today. Claudia & Tom got married at Tom’s parents home, with beautiful views out across the Suffolk countryside as the sun shone down, the wind blew, people shucked oysters and clinked prosecco glasses, it was a perfect day.
One of the things I love about Marquee Wedding Photography is that it’s essentially a blank canvas for decoration but better than that it gives the softest, most flattering light imaginable for wedding photography. These guys have hilarious friends, who gave side splitting speeches and as the light outside faded and it got a little dark on the inside it just looked sensational still. These speeches have some of my very favourite photographs ever in them.
Just before the speeches tore the roof of the marquee with laughter we took the car and headed up some tracks into the farmland high up on the hills. We chased the light a little until we found the perfect spot to take some sunset portraits. From the emotional ceremony, to the Romanian dancing late that night on the dance floor every bit of this day was an absolute joy for me to photograph.
Grab a cup of coffee and a few biscuits and settle in for a bit of a longer blog post today. Here’s Claudia & Toms wedding day story…
